DO YOU HAVE A RESELLER IN MY AREA?

POST 'N' RAIL sell our concrete post and rail fence directly to the public rather than through resellers.  Deliveries are made directly from our yard to site in most parts of Australia.

POST 'N' RAIL is located just out of Echuca on the Victoria/New South Wales border.

POST 'N' RAIL deliver to site across Victoria, New South Wales and South East Queensland.

Delivery to other areas of Australia can be arranged.

Is the colour right through the mix or is it painted on?

The colour is mixed through the concrete and then sealed (except for the ASH colour).

How long does the sealer last?

POST 'N' RAIL has been sealing concrete for 20 years.  Due to natural environmental factors eg UV rays it may degrade the sealer which can be restored to its original shine by resealing the product.

What product do you use to reseal the product?

POST 'N' RAIL has been using the same sealer for 20 years.  If you wish to reseal, please contact us for advice.

Can the rails be cut?

Yes they can.

Do we install?

We have installed in the past.  We now only manufacture.   We can offer free advice as to installation if needed.  Also see our installation page.    We have some installers we can recommend.

How is your product packaged?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & INFORMATION

DO YOU HAVE A RESELLER IN MY AREA?

We sell our concrete post and rail fence directly to the public rather than through resellers.  Deliveries are made directly from our yard to site in most parts of Australia.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

The great majority of our concrete post and rail fences are located in Victoria, NSW and South East Queensland.  We have arranged delivery of our concrete post and rail fences to North Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.

IS THE COLOUR PAINTED ON?

The colour is mixed through the concrete rather than painted on.  With the exception of the aged timber colour, all other colour options in the range are sealed to ensure the colour is maintained.

DO THE SEALED POSTS AND RAILS NEED TO BE RESEALED?

We have been colouring and sealing concrete for 20 years. In most situations you can expect to enjoy at least 10 years without the need to reseal your concrete post and rail fence.  At that point, a single application of sealer will return it to new.

ARE THE POSTS AND RAILS REINFORCED?

The posts and rails are made using 40 MPa concrete and reinforced with 8mm deformed bar.

HOW LONG WILL THE CONCRETE POST AND RAIL FENCE LAST?

In choosing to use our concrete post and rail fence, you can expect at least 50 years from your new fence.  Our concrete post and rail fence is a good choice in termite areas, providing timber looks without the timber problems.

DO YOU OFFER AN INSTALLATION SERVICE?

We have installed many fences over the years.  Currently we are not installing ourselves, however we can often recommend an installer in many parts of Australia.

CAN I INSTALL IT MYSELF?

If you're considering installing yourself, we are here to answer all your questions as you install and assist you to bring your proposed concrete post and rail fence to life.

CAN THE RAILS BE CUT?

The rails can be cut to length.  There are 8mm steel reinforcing rods running down the length of each rail.  The ends of those cut reinforcing rods need to be painted with a protective paint to prevent rust and ensure the rails longevity.  We can make rails to any length up to 2300mm in our factory to reduce the cutting required on site when installing.

DO YOU MAKE A 45 AND 90 DEGREE CORNER POST?

Yes, we do make a 90 degree corner post.  We achieve a 45 degree corner using a 45 degree rail.  The 45 degree rail has a 45 degree return on one end that when fitted into a joiner post has the rail exiting the post at 45 degrees.

HOW DO I BEST WORK OUT WHAT TO ORDER?

Sending our team a sketch of your proposed fence detailing the length, any changes of direction and the location of any gates is a great way to ensure we quote exactly what you need.

HOW IS THE PRODUCT PACKAGED?

The concrete posts and rails are packaged on pallets.  There are 27 rails on a standard pallet and 14 posts on a standard pallet.  We take great care to ensure posts and rails are protected well and arrive on site safely.
